Does anyone know where I can find freeware to play my dvd's on my computer. I keep getting errors like I need a codec or something. I installed nero 7 but we already had it on one computer in the house and it quit working. I'm tired of everyone wanting more and more money. I found another one but they want me to download a toolbar on my internet browser that pops up ads (I think not!!!). Another one I believe its called avs worked ok a little bit but they want you to subscribe. I want something I can watch any dvd I have in the house and I want to convert video formats to burn dvd's in my regular dvd player on my tv. Can anyone please help me???

Try POwer DVD or VLC player and even 123 classic player is the best. VLC can play any format and even 123 Classic palyer is also capable of playing any fromats. If you want to go for a real DVD experience i suggest you to go for power DVD it is simply the best.
