Charice Pempengco.. isn't she great!

Sorry dont think I have heard her sing. BUt then her records wiould have to be sold over here to do that and be on the radio stations. Sorry I guess we miss out on alot of good singers that way.

hi cherriemae...yeah she is fantastic..she deserves all the success she's experiencing now..the exposure from the you tube give her way to be noticed and famous..i just hope that she will soon have a cd of her own and of course have her own identity or style of singing...

Of course she is like a from rags to riches kind of story. She started simply and being with her single mom she grew up rather hard in life. All of it changed when she won in a singing contest although a minor awardee she slowly showed not only in the local scene but internationally as well when she was started to be noticed. How? Well from youtube of course. There were some that took notice on her and invited her from their shows to perform and the audience responded quite good on her in the US. I think after that the rest is history and to date she still is performing locally but anytime she wants to perform abroad she can easily do that since she is backed up by her manager Oprah which I think could be a good manager and could make her even more popular in the States.
