Have you ever held a gun before?

Today's news site portrayed a photo gallery from Afghanistan's war. There was a picture with a little kid holding a gun. I thought it look so dirty. Why ever kids have to see something like that? Why no one gives the a choice to grow up in normal culture with normal childhood?

Yes, my dad used to take me out in the marsh to go duck hunting with him when I was about 12 or 13.
