What if something mechanical or technical was causing problems for your internet usage for a day? Do you think you could live without it? What other things could you do to be constructive for that one day?

i can see why you do not want the scenario to be happening with you, dinos. in that case, since seemingly your life revolves around those dealings through the internet, not having it for a whole day will be disastrous. however, i still believe that if the internet gets to be inaccessible all so suddenly, you will find some ways to make use of the day in a profitable way. you can sleep you so will wake up refreshed and renewed. you can go to the park and stretch out that body doing some walking and/or running. whatever may it be, you will definitely find out that there are numerous ways to spend a day more meaningfully after all.

I think I could ive without it. It may be boring, but I can last a day without it. I can do things like stitching, gardening or just reading.

For my job nature I need a internet connection because everything depends on internet. I am in a system implementation now so I could be online maximum on my job time. After I came back to home also I am doing many jobs on internet. All of them need an internet connection. If I am doing some debugging or offline works then I won't be on the net. But side by side I have to provide live chat for my clients who all are always looking for my help.

Hiya bamakelly, Yes i could live without internet usage for a day. I generally come on here just to unwind. It has happened to me before in the past and i have just made the best of it by doing other things like catching up on some big household chores such as cleaning out closets, cleaning the oven, washing down walls for example. take care ~proudnana~

Well since my internet is being cut today for about 2 weeks till I am able to get Fibernet in I will have alot of thumb twiddling to do. I will be catching up on my reading, playing games that doesn't require internet, watching television and fighting hubby over remote..take the chance of doing nothing to get my house spring cleaned before spring because I will have the time to do so.

if there is no internet connection that i can avail of for a day, it will be so easy to deal with. there are so many things that has been unattended to and are in dire need of my attention. i can just simply get to them and work on them. in the evenings, the television set and/or the karaoke/sing along will be enough entertainment, anyway. so, bamakelly, doing something at the net is not that much of a deal with me. i do surf the net because it is there, it is available at the touch of my hands whenever i feel doing so.

I think it would not be a problem for me as i am not a net-addicted and even now also i try to be away from net at least once in a fortnight. So its all right with me. I will spend my day by reading some good novel. Go for outing with my friends.
