What shirts do you prefer? Checked, stripped, printed or plain?

I prefer to wear plain shirts, and at times I put on stripped shirts too. I do not wear checked shirts as I feel I look fat in them. Not that I am fat, but I am on the plus side and I have to constantly keep doing exercises to stay in shape. Printed shirts look too gaudy an I can not wear it at my age of 53. It was ok when I was a youngster.
What type of shirts do you people prefer?

i like plain.. most stripes i dont like and checked i hate.. its hard for me to even find a print i like period.. i guess im picky

I prefer plain shirts. I stay away from plaids and stripes because I don't like the way they look on me. I'll wear a nice print one if it really strikes a chord in me when I see it on the rack in the store but I do not wear them often.
I am not into fashion trends, being low maintenance I tend to keep things as simple as possible.

I prefer plain. They are simple and I prefer conventional styles.
