I am very much intersted in learning PHP,please help me?

I am very much interested to learn php ,but i came to know i need some software on my system to run a php program.First i searched in google ,then i came to know that i must have apache,mysql and php onl my system .so i downloaded all these things ,after installing all these thing ,i don't know how to connect apache and php and mysql .so i left this idea. Then i came to WAMP ,which is also an software tool to run php program,so i installed this one but this installation failed. Then i came to XAMPP which is the another software to run php ,but this installation also failed .I got frustrated after this so many attempts . Then one of my offline friend told me about one new software that is DREAMWAVER to run php but i cannot found any free version to download this software ,it also failed. I am very very new to this language php,but iam very much interested in it.so please help me to learn this language .I need a step by step procedure to download any one of this software .I am eagerly awaiting for your replies.

have you tried W3Schools??? they have a whole tutorial on PHP. http://www.w3schools.com/

I have no idea about PHP, but once I failed to open a site for PHP. Then I search for it on http://www.brothersoft.com and found a list of software. But not proceed. You can just look at the site.

I look at this site ,and searched for Dreamweaver software ,it is available but it is not a free version.The price is too expensive for me .Any how thanks for your response.

Hi, if you try to install wamp and xampp, then I believe that you use windows OS. As far as I know, wamp and xampp is the most easier way to install Apache, PHP, and mysql. And I never heard someone fail to install it. Are you sure that your wamp or xampp installation file is not corrupt? Is wamp/xampp installation is complete without error occure? Have you try to install them in clean environment (I mean after you reinstall your os)? Well, one step at a time if you want to learn php. Try browsing for more information about it. PHP documentation is good enough as a starting point. Try to read it carefully. Try searching for free PHP tutorial in a search engine that you like. Find a php forums and join them to ask indeep about installing php. I believe they are more then welcome to solve your problem.
