I am constantly amazed at the beautiful scenery up here among these mountains. I actually live in a valley so no matter where I want to go I usually have to go at least up the side of a mountain, if not also down the other side. I moved up here this summer and was amazed at some of the sites I saw. I was just getting used to this kind of driving though and didn't have the courage to stop and take pictures but I really wanted to. By the time I found my way around and was comfortable with driving up and down it had become winter and I thought I would have to wait until spring for some good shots. I was sure wrong. A couple of weeks ago we had quite a bit of rain then the temperature dropped way below freezing. That morning I had to go over the mountain and I saw a beautiful site.
