If you put in an old tape or cd, or if you listen to music online and you hear something that you haven't heard in a long time, does it ever sound so good you just have to play it over and over again? Right now I am listening to Statler Brothers "Do You Remember These?" I hadn't heard it in a long time so I marked the link when I found it about 9 months ago. I just noticed the link on my computer and had to play it. Now, I've played it 3 times in a roll. I guess some people don't even know who the Statler Brothers are, and don't remember those. LOL What about you? Any old time favorites? Do you remember these guys? Good bible belt music.

Oh my goodness! definitely yes! If there's like a new song (or an old favorite)that i really really really like, I play it over and over and over again! I don't know, I just can't help myself. My sister complains about it all the time. Especially when she can't do anything about it. LOL!

I used to listen to a newly discovered song, rewind it, and then listen to it again. Sometimes if I really like it, I will try to write down the words so that I will learn the songs lyrics. I think it does annoy other people when we do this, especially if it is not necessarily one of their favorites. Thanks for posting here in this discussion Weirdo55, and have a wonderful day.

I'm one of those people who enjoys a variety of music, but for some reason there are just some that I have to keep listening to. I guess I just can't get enough of it. I do like Bread, I haven't heard that name in a long time. They made a few good songs. Thank you for your response in this discussion, and have a great day here on myLot!

It's funny how we have different types of music that we listen to when we are in different moods. And how music can adjust our mood or tone. It seems like if I am listening to something with a really good beat while I am working online, that the time just flies by. I have also noticed that if a song that I don't particularly care for comes on the radio, or maybe more than one in a row, that I will start feeling irritated without even realizing what is causing it. LOL

I listen to songs repeatedly a lot. There are lots of songs I don't like when they first come out, but like after they've been out for a while. I love to look those songs up online, and just listen to them over and over.

Sometimes I will get in a mood, and just play the same song over and over. Then again, there are times where I will listen to the whole cd, but feel as if I just didn't get enough of it. That is when I will play it again. Thank you for all of your responses in my discussions, it is much appreciated. How a beautiful evening!

Music can make us feel better at times, or just enhance the mood that we are already in. It is amazing how the human mind reacts to different sounds. The name Tyler Collins sounds very familiar to me, but for some reason I just cannot place it. Thanks for your response in this discussion and have a great day!

I have a group of cd's that it seems like the same five keep ending up back in my 5 disc cd player. Some people would find this very odd, considering how many cd's I have. I guess I just end up wanting to listen to the songs on the particular cd's more often than the rest. LOL Thank you for your response in this discussion, and have a great day!

I do tend to listen to the same songs. I seem to have certain days when I want softer music and others when I need something more beaty and loud. Recently I am listening to the music on the Facebook link in my profile. Not many are aware of that yet either because it is brand new but here's hoping it just might become famous. I should be proud of my son if it did

I am not a member of Facebook, but it seems to be growing more and more popular. I have heard more people talking about it this month than ever. I guess my sister met up with a bunch of her old classmates through there. That was pretty neat. I rarely listen to music on my computer, although I did go through a spell where I was listening to this one song through YouTube quite often. Maybe I'll have to pick that up again. Perhaps I should get a Facebook account as well. Thank you for your response in this discussion, and have a beautiful day!
