Do you find yourself too lenient on your children and your spouse to strict. Do you ever have a meeting of the minds to even out things and does it ever work for you?2 responses

I think if anything I am too strict with my kids. I am never lenient on them at all. I am a single mom, so I am doing all of the discipline myself. When my daughters dad has her I think he is just as strict if not more strict than I am. She told me "daddy too bossy" one of the last times she went with him.

Tchnically my husband and I are both probably a little too strict with our children. Our diputes are over proper punishments. My husband is overly prone to things like wnating to make their time out last for like twenty minutes and stuff. The children are one and two years old. Our biggest problem with discipline is really figuring out what they are capable of. they both have some learning disabilities. As they are still undiagnosed we are finding it hard to know the best way to deal with them.We usually come to an agreement. Some times still disagree over if they deserve to be discplined at all or not but now have set guidelines over what the disipline is.
