VP Biden said all he needs to to expose what this "Middle Class" task force is really all about.
To organized labor he said, "Welcome back to the White House".
In other words, "thanks for getting us elected, feel free to take whatever you want in payback."
This "Task force" is nothing but an excuse to pay back the bribes the Union thugs gave Obama and Biden.
THIEVES!!!!

Did you happen to read what Vice President Biden wrote in his blog this morning about this new task force? Do you actually disagree that "a strong middle class equals a Strong America. You can't have one without the other," or do you think it's only the rich and powerful that matter?

I understand and I respect that you have no use for unions. I strongly disagree although I've never said there aren't some "thugs" in charge of unions or that some unions don't make unreasonable demands, particularly in tough economic times. However, given a choice I'll take the union thug over the management thug every time. In fact, I wouldn't dream of calling some of the bosses I've had, especially most recent recent one a thug because I wouldn't want to insult actual thugs that badly!
Also, I'm far less suspicious of a candidate who receives contributions from unions than one who receives cash from the oil companies, pharmaceutical giants and insurance companies. Not to mention the NRA and religious right organizations who believe in discriminating against women and homosexuals among other groups.

It's not that I have no use for unions. My position about unions is, if your job makes you a faceless, nameless number then if you think you can do better by joining a union, then more power to you.
What I am against is laws requiring support of unions or joining unions. Where I disagree with Biden and this task for is the total LIE that middle class=unions.
There is no difference between unions and big business. In fact, unions ARE big business, and the thugs that run them are just a quick to rip off the workers as any corporate leaders.
The NRA and the religious right groups aren't getting laws passed requiring people to join. They also aren't fleecing the taxpayers under a total and complete lie about them representing the middle class.
The only way unions got their power was through murder, extortion and buying crooked politicians. They lost their power after they decided to get out of the murder business. Now they have a bought and paid for president who will return their investment by making it easier for them to force themselves on workplaces.

Parated,
I agree whole heartedly! I have believed for many years that the union has long outlived it's usefulness and now are more of a self-serving entity rather than a member serving service! The union(s) and their tactics have only served to exacerbate the present economical crisis and if perpetuated it will only get worse. The main problem here is that the president sees these modern day hiway robbers as a part of the solution(his own words, I heard him)and not part of the problem!
