The digital cameras they have nowadays are great. Beautiful picture. You really don't have to do anything. But I love my film cameras. I like the fact the I can adjusted things on the camera that give me different effects. Among the cameras I have, one is a Kodak 135 SRL found at the Crow's Nest in Germany at the end of WWII. It takes great picture. The other I have is a 2 1/4, those square box type that again takes great pictures. How about you? What do you preface and why?

For me, I have a lot more fun using an analog film camera. There's something really exciting about pressing that shutter button to expose an image onto your film, and you have no way of knowing what that image looks like until you finish off the roll and then go develop it. Of course digital is a lot more convenient and because of the instant feedback, you can really perfect your shot while you're out there shooting. Plus, I love that feeling you get when you take a shot, then you immediately see it on the LCD screen and it looks absolutely amazing! I use both. I definitely take more photos with my digital cameras since it's a lot cheaper to do so! But do I shoot with film cameras very often.

I do not think I could have said it better. Although, I sure I take more with the film than digital. Old habits hard to die I guess.

Most certainly digital has the advantage. I guess I just like to work for my picture, including printing. As far as doing away with film cameras, maybe but as long as their is film cameras out there they will still make film. Thank you for your response.

I prefer digital cameras. I love taking pictures, but I just do it for fun, so I always just had really basic film cameras. I love being able to view the pictures I've taken right after taking them, and also having the ability to delete pictures that don't turn out well, and being able to transfer them directly onto my computer.

Hi there, I prefer my digital for the fact you can see your photos right away and the money you save without having to buy film and having them processed. There are digital SLR's that allows you to adjust and give you those different effects and they're just as good as the film camera's . My son has one and he takes amazing photos from it. I wish I had one. ~proudnana~
