Life is not a bed of roses. However, instead of just harping on and pining over the uncertainties of life, what is more important is the attitude we adopt when difficult situations arises.
This is especially true for the less-than-positive ones. In our pursuits for material things to make our life look more meaningful, we tend to forget about how much we are blessed with.
Here is a story that I read somewhere. And I feel this is a keeper. A good story that will serve as a reminder to see things in a more positive light when all seems to be lost.

A farmer's donkey fell into a well one day. The animal cried while the farmer looked on and tried to figure out what to do about the situation.
Finally, after much consideration, he decided that the animal was too old to be saved. And the well needed to be covered up anyway. So he asked his neighbors to help him to shovel dirt onto the well to cover it up, at the same time, bury the donkey that fell into the well.
Upon realizing what was happening, the donkey wailed horribliy. After a while,

Yeah, i have read this story somehow in mylot too.. haha =D In the end, the donkey managed to save itself by stepping on the soil that keeps coming onto him.. haha =D
This story is just like our life ^_^ DUn bow to failures or any obstacle in life.. Everything that happens to us, will always be of some use to us if we know how to make full use of it ^_^ Do not see everything bad as a diaster, for it might be a blessing in disguise ^_^
I will not rather my life to be like a bed of roses, because rose has got thorns on it.. haha =D So if one prefer to live and lead life in such a way, they must frist experience some pain and suffering b4 they know how to appreciate ^_^

Yeah, you have a point too. For if you have not experience anything bad, how would you know to appreciate the good for there is no comparison.
It is only when we do not get to enjoy the good that we learn to appreciate it more.
So I guess facing some problems is not so bad after all eh?

Yup, very right.. Problems are meant to be solved and problems are part of our learning experience.. Only thru solving them, we are able to feel a sense of achievement.. With every problem solved, we are a step closer to a smoother route in front of us.. haha =D
There will always be problems in lfe, just that we wanna see it as something big or small.. But no matter what, never avoid them as it's not gonna help in things ^_^

You are correct. What was past was already past and we can't foresee the future, what we can at the present moment is to challenge and win over it. I feel that we have to be appreciate and bear gratitude of what we already have. Sometimes difficult times are for us to put our capabilities to the real test, and if we take the challenge we grow as a result. There's also a saying that it's a misfortune for young people not to face any hardships during their youth, and the wise would rejoice at the face of hardships but the cowardly ones would suffer in retreat.

WOw, that is a good quotable quote there!
"it's a misfortune for young people not to face any hardships during their youth, and the wise would rejoice at the face of hardships but the cowardly ones would suffer in retreat".
I will note that down in my notepad!
Thanks for sharing my friend.
