Jusat yet another shot of an ice crystal formed on my ewindow of the screen door here in Minnesota. This is a shot from a few hours after I scraped an area off to see outside. The area I scraped was a lot larger than the squared off area shown in this photo. Maybe 4 times or more larger of an area. I used a window ice scraper to clear the area and this is the result after it refroze awhile later. I love it. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That is interesting. Here in Virginia we dont get too many things like that. We havent had alot of snow this winter and even fewer ice crystals. Once in awhile there is some ice on the trees. You never really know what you will see. It sometimes surprises you.

I will respond to your photo after I post this discussion. We not have rain which we desperately need. The snow level it high at 5 thousand feet at least the mountains will be getting some much needed snow pack.

That is very unusual looking. It looks sort of like chipped tile or something like that. It is hard for me to think that people still have ice and snow and yes, ice crystals.

Hi Grandpa Bob! I swear I saw something similar like that inside my freezer. lol.. I guess, the only part that is freezing here in our area is every household freezers. lol..The sun is almost always shining so brightly here and we would welcome some snow kind of day here anytime--but for just one day! take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith
