Is it ever okay to snoop around through your husband or wife things? Girlfriend or Boyfriend even? One of my friends and her boyfriend have this thing where she is always going through his wallet, pockets, car and cellphone when he is not around. She says she only does it b/c she knows he go through her things.......Does she have proof? I don't think so I think she just use that as an excuse to go through his things to spy on him. I don't go through any of my husband things b/c I don't want to know if he is not willing to tell me. So when is it ever okay to go through your spouse things?

Hi, I don't think it's okay at all. I don't like to snoop through his stuff, like wallet, laptop or cellphone - I trust that he knows what he's doing. After all, we don't have much to hide from each other, and respect each other's privacy.

I agree lazeebee if you don't do anything else I think you should respect your spouse privacy.

I would be very angry to find out a partner boyfriend or spouse went through my personal things. I don't have any thing to hid but still it is a case of trust. If they feel they have to go through those things then they don't trust me. I would real issues with any one going through my things unless I gave permission. When I was married I never went through my ex's wallet or any other personal areas and expected the same courtesy from him. I would say that your friend really doesn't trust her boyfriend and is looking for proof that she is right.

Snooping is not such a good trait and if I had a girlfriend who snoops on my things I would probably drop her from my list of girlfriends. LOL!!. Cheers!!
