[i think that when we talk about fridge or refregerator or a freezer it means that what we put inside is food..but in my fridge i have put one item there that is not belong to the category of a food...its " crown bond"
its weird but it was my hubby who put it there...the reason behind is that it will maintain its softness after it was opened due to the temperature...and can still be use after opening it...what about you guys?

hi vanities!
well first things first, what is a crown bond? lol
anyway, to answer your question: we do have facial creams that are organic and so we put them in the fridge so that they will stay longer. other than that, i think all we have is food and drinks in the fridge. :-) hehe we don't really have other non-food stuff that needs refrigerating for that matter.
take care and God bless you!!!
happy mylotting! :-)

Sometimes there is nail polish in the freezer...and candles. If you freeze a candle it pops right out of the container instead of you having to scratch it out or try to melt it out.....and freezing keeps your nail polish from getting hard and dried out in the bottle.

Candles are a good one, never thought of that. Melted some in my trailer before and even in regular places, long tapers tend to bend or sag.

When I lived in a trailer, it had a metal roof and very little insulation. It was nothing for my place to be over 100 degrees for at least 1/2 a day in the summer. My rubber bands melted together and so did my stockings. So I put the rubber bands in the butter tray and the stockings/pantyhose in the veggie crisper. I made milk paint and that was in my house last year and I've put home made make up and shampoo that have been in the fridge, too.

Interesting topic, I just read through and there are lots of non-food items listed. Stuff I never thought of.

hi there vanities, just like you I have non food items in my ref. Some medications (syrup) for my child is inside. There are also those that my wife use for her face. She likes it there since it becomes cold and very much soothing when applied to the face.

I have a container in the side door of the fridge that contains cream for allergies and calamine lotion. It is put in a tupperware brand container air tight so there is no smell coming out of the container.

Yup, I've got my facial masks, eye masks, medicine and hot & cold comfort packs (fever) in the fridge as well.

hi there,
Before digital cameras became so popular I used to store my film in the fridge. It helped to restore its life.
