Before I decided to take on Creamsycle. I had my cat taken care of. He's 14 and named Baby. He has an attitude problem. He doesn't like other animals. Humans are cool, because he are there for the care and comfort of the great, superior, cat God, Baby, of course. (His belief, not mine) Anyway, his heart is wonderful for a 14 year old cat. My regular vet, (Creamie went to a different one), has two waiting areas. One for sociable pets and one for mine. I sat in the unsociable section. Every dog owner that came in. Told them my cat doesn't like dogs. Repeatedly, I told them this. Every owner. This one woman would not stay in the social section. You could see my cat from there. I told her my cat didn't like dogs. We were talking. She didn't keep track of her puppy and suddenly, Wham! Hiss, Arr, arr, arr! Told her.
Don't you just love people who don't listen?!

Yeah ,sometimes I will come across some kind of people who is so obstinate, even though I try my best to persuade him or her not do this thing or that thing for his or her own benefites, they do not even care about me ,on the countrary they may think I am crazy .when the results comes they will think what molly said is correct ..hehe...Normally whenever I come across this kind of people I will say twice ,if he or she doesn't even listen to me ,I will shut up and wait for the bad effects ..

Yes, the laws of cause and effect. If people don't listen, they get what's coming to them. Thanks Molly, take care.

I know what you are saying. It can be teribly irritating. And why would anyone want to subject their pet to another one who might be sick or mean?
We have a dog who has asthma and allergies. He's a little doxie who is a mini. He's a wonderful, friendly pet. I took him to the vet just before Christmas to get him back on meds to control his problem. A man comes in with his huge dog and thinks it's so funny that his dog took off after our little guy. My back was killing me that day but I bent over and grabbed our little Cody away from the big dog. The owner just looked at me and smirked. He thought it was so cute. When the owner walked away I griped to the girls at the front desk and they said this happens all the time with that owner and they have told him about it in the past.

Oh yes, the "My dog is superior to yours and ha, ha." Kind of fool. That's when I say something like, "Can't expect his dog to have many brains, he doesn't have any." really, really loud for everyone to hear.

No kidding. There was no reason for the owner to just stand there and smile. Wish my husband would have been there since he is outspoken and would have told that guy what he could do with his dog....lol It would have been very interesting. Ii did not see the humor in this man's attitude.

I hear you...but you know, my friend, I have a heck of a lot more problem with people that hear ONLY what they want to hear! I just get befuddled when I give very specific directions...to some of my employees, only to find that it is/has become totally the opposite. ARGH! Or I pass something on...overhear it being related to some-one else in completely the wrong text! You got me on a rant, m'dear!

Makes you wonder how these people hold a job.
Some people think I exaggerate my cat's hatred of other animals until he creams them!

That's a topic I don't want to get started on...the attitude, competency and attendance of workers today! Just wish parents would spend some time on ethics with their children, too! And sometimes, like the lady at the vet's...I think they are just plain challenged! You can tell...I'm flustered today...but gotta tell you, there is actually a little peek of sunshine! Cheers!
Yikes, news just started, and there was a 60 year old woman give birth today in Calgary, Alberta!

I'm 51 and I wouldn't want to try to give birth. Let alone at 60.
What till you see my next topics.

I agree with you, these people wouldn't like it if we didn't listen to them. So when I tell someone my cat doesn't like dogs, they shouldn't let their dog stick his nose in my cat's face. They'd like it even less if my cat hurt their dog.
