People today can prepare their meal in a much easier way. To prepare a meal, provident wives usually had to work for hours in the kitchen in the past : wash the dirty vegetables, slice meat and so on so forth. But now, supermarkets provide clean and neat vegetables and meat product. Therefore, our lives have been changed in more than one way. First of all, food preparation is no longer a tedious task. Such a change has liberated many wives and leaving them more spare time to do something else. And husbands are getting happier to cook food than before, which makes their partner satisfy. Children also become more independent, at least they can make themselves simple meals when adults are not in.

hello tudors yes, cooking dinner does not have to take long at all to prepare the food unless a person really wants to cook their food the real homemade way instead of using the instant mixes and food already cut up in the grocery stores and items of this nature. but i guess that at one time or another, we are all guilty of running into a nearby grocery store and for the convience of it grabbing something fast and easy to prepare for dinner. before we all know it, our kitchen at home will be a fast food restaurant. take care and have a beautiful evening.

hi, sweetie, i give my "best response" to you ,and only you. not only because you are the first to respond to this discussion, but i love what you said. while, I 'm from China, and cooking in China is more complicated than that in US. and few ready or half ready food are available in our supermarket like Wal Mart, Carifour, so cooking especially buying food from the market is really a big job. Have a nice day.
