Microsoft offers a very good Certification - MCSD. This is very popular and is recognized. You need to learn .NET and have to be very good in it to able to clear its exam.

ya its quite difficult to do microsoft certification test as it takes some procedures to do it at first you must pass the apptitude test to complete it i done my java courses from niit from microsoft .just log on to microsoft site for more details happy mylotting

hi chitra , Microsoft conducts many workshops in my college(V.I.T,vellore).and it has not yet done a workshop on .net,recently they conducted a workshop on Network security, so if you are studying in a college,a group of students can apply for MS WITH PERMISSION from your management and MS will conduct the workshop directly in your campus.....or you can do it as e-learning also
