Everyday. Mylot receives a lot of new signups. A few stick with the site and others would choose be not active. We all made our own discussions and lot of responses will be made by other users. Especially in money making, how do you give trust to other mylotter and what is your basis? Is it in the star? Rank? No. Of post? No. Of best responses? Or the thought of his/her post?

The rankings mean nothing and the number of posts are just numbers. What matters is what someone posts...the window into their minds that they present to the other members of mylot. You get to know posters by their posts and, in that way, you're able to determine who seems trustworthy and who seems like a player or, worse yet...a troll.

This is a very good answer spalladino...very insightful. Just like the offline world it is a person's consistent behaviour that spells the whole picture about them. Numbers and other flashy things mean very little.

thanks for that response. yeah, your right and that what i think also.. though, sometimes i look at the number of post coz its seems it is one to be the first impression when someone make his/her post. but then it could be that he or she may have a lot of number of posts but her and his post may not be sensible as others who have lesser number of post but every post they made they make sure that others may get information from what she or he made.

For me it is the way one responds and that is what ultimately reflects.Sincerity is one thing you can not wear on your sleeves. It has to be reflected through your actions. In the process there is every possibility that you may be conned/stipped of the vital information you have so laboriously collected. You can never rule out those who choose to be not active, gather information and go away to never come back.

Hello lockheart! Well, I have some trusted friends here in mylot already. Some of them are old members and some are new. I don't really care about the number of stars or number of posts. What important is the way how he/she acted towards each members here.
