Sarat Chandra Chatterjee's novel written way back in 1927 has given the 13th film in Indian film industry with the release of new movie Dev D. Though the film is not exactly the replica of the novel, but the plot of the story is similar to it. 82 years have gone now since the novel was written, it still is popular among the movie makers in India. It seems it has produced more movies than any other ovel in the world.
