Marshmallows over a campfire

I love toasted marshmallows. We love them so much we even have them at home not only while camping. I have a little BBQ pit and we throw wood into it and we toast marshmallows on the open flame. They are so yummy reminds me of old camping trips.

I love roasted marshmallows! I like to stick them directly in the fire and quick blacken the outside then let it cool for a second and pull off just the blackened outside eat it so I can reraost the rest of the marshmallow I know I am weird LOL

ahhh, so the well roasted sides are the most yummy portions. it is good to know that the marshmallows can be kept roasted numerous times. yep, just keep on eating the blackened portions, then get the remaining marshmallows blackened too, then eat that part again. hmmm...this sounds so exciting to do.

I never caught on to toasted marshmallows, they usually burned, burned your firgers and your mouth and sticky goo all over everything. But all my kids loved them.

in the philippines, we barbeque chicken, pork, beef or hotdogs. i'm afraid that marshmallows for this purpose are so difficult to find here. i have never ever encountered any until now that i am in my mid 50's. the first time that i saw it in a movie, i have been wondering how it looked like and how would it have tasted. now, you have given me a good description of this.
