what whould you do if you were in a bush fire what would you take i know i would get my kids my cats my photos my purse what are your thoughts.

Firefighters go where the devil dances. If I were in a brush fire, it's because I would be working to put it out. that's what I do, I'm a wildland firefighter. And if that were the case, you had better packed up and gotten out hours before it got that close.

hi there Christopher Lloyd thanks for the reply i would not take everything but i dont drive so i get my pack back with the things i need then get out my friends brother is a fireman too and he is out there at the moment he is putting fires out and do you have people who lights the fires like we do in Australia it not fair they cause people grief. take care happy postings.

Yes, we have arsonist here too. I am also trained in wildland (arson) investigation.

Hi hopejordan. I've been hearing of all the fires they've been having in Australia, which is horrible...they had many in the California area here in the USA. I think my most main important thing to take would be my two cats...then to remember to take important ID, ATM cards. I would love to take my computer and photo collection but since it would be too much and I don't have a car to put it all in wouldn't be able to

hi there pyewacket yes they have i heard on the news that someone left a smoke but on the ground that caused the fire and other ones diffrent ways of starting a fire i know i love to take the computer but its not possible it is to heavy to carry unless it was a laptop that is not so heavy take care happy postings.
