hello everybody here at Mylot. whoo hoo! my hubby and his brother were able to get the central heat and air conditioning unit where that we live fixed back to where that it is working properly again! yeah. and it only cost us around thirty-five dollars or so for parts to get it working again. thank goodness that the heater wasn't very expensive for us to have heat again in our house. so tell me, if your heater or air conditioner has went out before, do you try to fix it yourself? or do you have to call somebody to your house to fix the problem? also, how much was spent in fixing a heater or an air conditioning problem that you may have had in the past? thanks for sharing and have a beautiful evening.

Oh nice one! Glad you got that fixed nice and quickly and with not too much expense either! If things go wrong here it's all centralised and it would get fixed quite quickly and the cots would be divided up bewteen all the tenants.

You got a good deal. Didn't know you were without heat but knew you were having trouble with the unit. Only 5 more weeks left until Spring but these next 5 weeks could be something else with the cold one day, warm the next. We had to repair our furnace a month ago. It was over $600 but we were in a bind since it was extremely cold out and didn't have a choice. Well, we did have another option which would have been to spend $2,000 to put in a new furnace. We did the quick fix since it was too cold to be without heat for the biggest part of the day while they were installing a new unit.

You are lucky that the guys could fix it. If someone had to come out from a company it would have cost you around $200 or more. Cudos to your guys.

Hi TnWoman! Whenever our air conditioning unit needs to be fixed, we usually call on someone who can do the job. My husband does not know anything about fixing it and usually he just cleans the unit but more than that, it will be beyond his "powers". lol It really depend upon what kind of repair needed to be done and usually, it just needed freon. It usually cost us two thousand pesos or more which is equivalent to $42 or more. take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Heyya Tnwoman! I bet you are happy to have that fixed. It's been pretty cold the past week or two. That was cheap to get your unit repaired! I do have to call someone in. I had a unit a few years ago that cost around 200 to get repaired. I think 100 of it was for the service call. It can run into a lot of money repairing those.
