Have you been in that situation? How do you tell her? Let's just say it's not just at one occasion that you noticed that. People have been saying it behind her back, as a friend, what would you do?

Its a really problem when someone friend has bad breath and along with you. If my friend has bad breath i really feel bad and angry. I normally do one trick, I purchase mint fresh or menthol fresh and give to friend, we both eat and my problem always solve easily, bcoz no one can refuse to eat mint fresh. so this will easily solve of someones problem.

Chances are you friend already knows it.. Some people like myself and your friend have bad breath that never goes away mine is do to sinus problems...and two broken wisdom teeth that I can not afford to go to the dentist to be removed...Listerine helps it alot though. - DNatureofDTrain

I forget to add the best way to tell her I think would be for everyone to offer tic tacs :) ...or gum can help. But usually its best to see a doctor. As numerous things can cause it. Sometimes lacking something in the diet, eating to much or to little... can as well.. Just the certain things she eats. Most of mine is because I eat very strong cented foods. Onions, Garlic, Catnip that catnip breath makes everyone one away from me as my cats climb my legs to cuddle all over me.. :) .. At least they appreciate that :D - DNatureofDTrain

I would directly go and tell her that she had bad breadth. The colleagues were making fun of her.She needs to visit the dentist urgently. She can also eat some mint candies or spray some mouth fresheners before coming in contact with friends. Then people will be happy in communicating with her.

She may know already but she may not. If she has had it her wole life, she may know no different. I would try to ease her into it by perhaps offering her some fresh breath gum. But sometimes goin about it this way may end badly. Being truthful with a good friend is what being a good friend is all ablout. Just tell her. Let her be embarrassed for a hort while with you rather than with all the people she has ben breathing on.
