It's a good timing because Feb. 14 fell on a Saturday. My son and daughter arranged for me and my husband to have a quiet dinner at Don Atilano, a local fine restaurant along the boulevard. That early morning, when I woke up, I was greeted by a bunch of red balloons from my husband. Later that day, and without me knowing, my kids made reservations for both of us in that restaurant. And so we had a dinner date, thanks to my two kids. At the table, a bunch of red roses from my husband greeted me again. It was really a romantic night out! Thanks to my two kids who made it possible. We strolled the boulevard after the dinner, then went home. By the way,we're married now for the past 27 years, and still counting. Of course, my two kids are now grown-up, but they are still under our spell, er...guidance. He, he. Belated happy valentines....

Hi psyche, you are fortunate to have a beloved husband, as well as the grown up kids to give you such a surprising valentine’s day. Yeah, it is lucky as well to have such a couple of understanding kids to plan the meaningful dinner for you all.
I could imagine how cheerful and inspired you were, to see your husband holding a bunch of red balloons appeared in front of your bed once you woke up in the morning. Moreover there was another bunch of red roses in the restaurant again. How romantic the 27th valentine’s day it was
Hopefully you have countless sweet and memorable valentine’s days in the future.
posting and have a great day.

How sweet! I admire you and your husband for being together through all those years. As for me and my wife, we're married for 7 months now and we're expecting our first baby in October. Last Feb. 14, I woke up early and bought ingredients for our Valentine's dinner date. I started cooking 3 hours before my wife comes home from work. She was surprised to see the meal I prepared for us. We had a wonderful time that night.
