When drying your clothes do you ever over fill your dryer?

I have done this in the past and it took all day to get the clothes dry. I know only fill both my washer and dryer half way when doing a load. I find it better on the machine and better on the clothes. Have you ever over loaded your dryer?

hello moneymommy i couldn't agree with you anymore than what you said about just putting a half of a load of wet clothes or towels into the clothes dryer at one time like that. i am having problems right now with my clothes dryer overheating on me. i will throw in some wet laundry into my clothes dryer, and then wait for around forty to forty-five minutes or so to go back downstairs to see if the clothes are dry, well when i open the door to the dryer expecting my stuff to be dry, the dryer has shut itself off, and the laundry that is inside of the dryer will still be wet. so i will have to re-start the dryer and wait on it again. i could get my laundry done in a day's time if my dryer would stay on. i think what that i might need to do is slide out the dryer and see if the dryer hose attached to the back of it might have a bunch of lint in it causing it to overheat and shut itself off. take care and have a beautiful evening.

Sorry you are having a hard time with your dryer. That would drive me crazy. Sounds like maybe it is a hose problem.
