I love steak and I rarely eat it. Why you ask? Because I married theo ne man on earth that doesn't really care for steak. He still lets me eat it whenever I want but I have always found that it is too much work to make two meals. This year I have decided that I am going to be eating it a little more often although I have been told that the best way to eat it is medium rare. I have never had a steak cooked that way, mine usually turn out to be well done. I just filled up the tank on my BBQ and I can't wait to test it out. I would love to hear from you: How do you cook your steak? Do you like it rare? Do you like BBQ?

I like it black on the outside and bloody red in the middle. Just a little salt and pepper for seasoning.

A good steak should be cooked like this. Very hot frying pan, cast iron. Put your steak in and let it sizzle for about 2 minutes, turn it over and let it cook for about another 2 minutes. Put it on a plate and let it sit for about 4 minutes before serving it. Done this way it should need nothing more than salt and pepper on it. Put the salt and pepper on it at the table.
