Flooring for my new house.

Now a days the trend is for fixing 2 x 2 feet tiles on floor. People go for tiles, instead of marble. I have seen in many new houses that floor tiles are being used instead of white marble. After a gap of certain period, white marble turns pale and black in corners, untill and unless it is of very expensive quality. Instead of choosing white tiles, you can go for cream colour or off-white colour. My advice is go for tiles and your expenditure might be less than marble and it will be easier to clean and will give a very good impression of your room.

I don't really have any inexpensive suggestions, but I know that marble is hard, durable, long lasting and expensive.

You canvass for a very affordable tiles for your flooring as there many varities now in the market. But as for me, i want to have our flooring to be made of granite as this is very popular now even in the malls or hotels the flooring are made of granite tiles. You can use white with a colorful combinations of tiles. marilyn23

I am no longer in a house,but I would go for a pickled white ash wood flooring,it is cheaper than tile,easier on the feet 'and goes beautifullly with many different styles of home decorating. if not that then some gorgeous floor tiles with a few printed ones that are very arty, mixed in with plain colored ones they come in all shades and colors and are again easier on your feet. if you have white why not have some of the picture tiles in colors matching your decor around the edges they are pretty expensive so you might just want them as accents to the white or whatever color you choose.

Ohhh I love light brown color or gray color so if I will make my new house then I will prefer this flooring color and design will plain.
