After the dreadful snowfall yesterday and freezing rain last night, I am now looking out the window at the rain!..Where oh where has the sunshine gone? Is it ever coming back? This is winter in Canada, love it or hate it. What is the weather like right now where you are? Here in Nova Scotia Canada, it is drizzly, cloudy and about 1c. Just a yucky day!

The kind of extreme weather in Canada has always got to my ears though a friend of mine Living in Galgary! But I dont think visitng Canada will be in my options during winter because I almost know, I will not survive the -40 degrees cold! Here in Uganda, we are burning in a high temperature of 37 degrees Celcius, this world is really wide and different sandymay!

Yes it most certainly is...I have friends who live in Durban, always complaining of the heat while I am sitting here freezing..lol..She tell me too that she could not stand the cold here in Canada and although we do get temps in the 30s in summer, I dont think I could tolerate it year round.

hello sandymay it sounds like that you-all have rough Winter's in Canada. i live in Middle Tennessee and today, it is sunny but cold. it probably hasn't made it to thirty degrees outside for the high yet today. but it is supposed to be high today fifty degrees here and tomorrow about the same, gaining one degree in temperature. i haven't looked on to Sunday to see what it is going to be like around here yet. i am so ready for Spring time and then Summer time to get here. a couple of weeks ago here, it was like Spring time, warm days in the seventies and then boom all of a sudden the cold weather came back around on us. we usually do not ever get any bad weather here anymore. if it does happen to snow, then the snow usually melts during the same day. hope it warms up for ya really soon. take care and have a beautiful day today!

This winter we have had more snowfall than normal..By normal, I am comparing to recent years where the snow didnt really even stick around all winter as it did in the past. THis year however, the snow came and stayed and then kept coming. The sun is trying hard to come out now. Its out for a few minutes and then leaves..It probably doesnt like the snow either!!...lol

yes you are right. Its very fascinating and fun for people who have never seen it. My friend in Sri Lanka, only wishes she could see it. But yes it causes great difficulties for us who have to put up with snow regularly ...It causes many traffic accidents, many sore backs and muslces from from shovelling snow, and people slipping on ice and breaking bones. The fun side however is to go skating, sledding, skiing, snowboarding, if you enjoy these sports. I am a summer person, and I love to swim. I would be at home on a beach with nice blue water and palm trees...:)

I know you must be cold in Canada. We have been pretty warm the whole winter here in Texas. Last night a cold front blew through and right now its only 31 degrees but it will warm up to about 70 today. Yesterdays high was 80 degrees. Such drastic changes in weather here.

Our temperatures are very drastic too but the other way in winter...lol..It can be -20 and go back up to 30. It is not much warmer here today, about 34 at the most and that will be the high for today, Its actually warmer than it usually is this time of year. What nice warm weather you have. It must get really warm in summer. I have not been to Texas but would surely love to go. I have seen many of the states. Please send some sunshine our way, Thanks for responding
