Discussion Tags?

When you are credited for your posts do they also take that into consideration if you do or don't fill in a discussion tag? Most of the time when I get to a post I'm not the first one and a tag I would of suggested is already there, so I figure I'll save a few key strokes and a moments worth of carpel tunnel skipping it. What do you think?

I'm not sure about the consideration part of it. However a tag is used most likely to segreagte and index the discussions. In any case i make it a point to put in whatever relevant words which come to my mind.

I'm not really sure. I usually put one on about half the time but then the other time I agree with you and figure it will just save me a little typing. It shouldn't matter, but I'm not sure.
