What do you usually munch?

I don't work so I have a lot of time at home makes me want to munch like when you sit down, play with the computer or watching TV, you just want something to chew. Do you feel like that? I sometimes eat chips, chcolate, dessert etc all junk food :-p sometimes I am ok thatnot to think about it. How about you guys?

ha ha ha ha ha... it so happens that I am munching on potato chips when I saw this topic. Usually, I do not care what I munch on. As long as it taste good, it will do.
From chips to fried eggs to fruits to prunes. Anything that is available in the fridge at the time when the munchies attacks comes.

We do watch movies at home together and we like to munch chips and nuts and sometimes fresh fruits we have in our ref.
Sometimes when i do prepare something sweet like fruit and macaroni salad, i will serve it as we watch. But most of the time we have our Kurkure chips to eat, some Lays Potato, sometimes cookies like Hide & seek.
And some famous mixtures of grains, nuts and some organic peas in a pack we use to buy here. Although most of the time we like to eat more nuts like cashew and almond. We do have a stock of dates too inside the ref where we seldom eat.

I am also like that! I love munching on whole grain chips, cheetos and tropical trail mix! ALso, I tend to do all the munching at night! A big NO-NO! ANd whats more, my husband is also guilty of doing that.
But then, I am controlling my blood sugar so I am struggling to stop that habit. I also intend to lower down ng insulin dose. When I feel the urge, than i just chew on a few pieces of nuts, carrot& celery sticks or some fruits. My husband and I talked about it a couple of nights, we're planning to go to Hawaii on our anniversary and we want to use that as our motivation to stop. Still we are struggling so much, that just this morning, I printed a reminder on the fridge that says REMINDER: STOP MUNCHING, So you can be both healthy and sexy!, LOL!

hello mermaidivy
i like to enjoy munching out on all kinds of different foods like that. it just depends on what mood that i am in as to what that it is that i want to eat. lol sometimes the food that i eat is good for my body and sometimes the food that i might happen to be eating is not good for my body. i like to snack on microwave kettle corn popcorn, potato chips and dip, tortilla chips and salsa, nachos, fruit and cheese, yogurt with granola sprinkled on the top of it, ice cream, cereal, granola bars, you name it. i like to always have different kinds of snacks laying around the house that i can enjoy snacking on when that i feel hungry a little bit and do want to snack on something. in the warm months of the year i find myself snacking on more fresh fruits and veggies, dips, salsa's and cheese more than anything, and it is almost that time of the year again.
