Yes there are a lot of good things but surely living in the beautiful Philippines you too, have much to appreciate. Did you not visit Scotland when you were in the UK?. It can be very beautiful and interesting. One thing that is not English is the flag that Mylot incorrectly show on items relating to England. This is a flag combining the crosses of St Patrick for Ireland, St Andrew for Scotland and St George for England. It is known as the Union Jack.

Mylot have now removed the Union Jack on items relating to England. I am very impressed by their co-operation and grateful that this anomaly has been removed.
Well done Admin people.

Aw, you're gonna make me cry!
I miss you too England. I left you to marry an American five years ago, but I still love you - even more now I realise all those things I took for granted.
Like a free health service. But don't get me started on that again...lol
I miss Galaxy chocolate. I miss your random sense of humour. I miss Doctor Who.
Damn it, I missed seeing Christopher Eccleston do theatre 'cos a ticket AND the plane fare was a bit much...!
But most of all I miss just -England. The shared cultural alliance that you don't even realise is there until its gone. I will be happy here, because I have chosen to be, but it will not be my country.
But - rejoice with me, next Thursday I am GOING HOME for two weeks!!!
Put the kettle on, chaps....

It's actually warming up now but it did snow all over the country, some places had it really bad. At least it isn't raining anyway like it always seems to at this time of year.

looks like you have had very good time in birmingham. yes it is a nice city , i have lived there, too and explored many of its places, parks, markets, etc.
bullring is a nice addition to the city centre. before this, the centre was not very attractive and was just similar to ones in other cities. the new shopping centre is a great infrastructure !!
