paying to put garbage out to the road

are you for this or against and do you have to do it. where i live we don't but i now some people who have to buy garbage tags. so you have to put them out on your bags to put them by the road for the garbage man to take them. i think it forces people to recycle and compost more. could be a good idea but not for those who are allready strugging for money but it definately will make people think about what they through out

Where we live now we have to put stickers on our garbage in order for the garbage man to take them. We now recycle more & burn other things like paper etc. When we lived in N.J. the trash was picked up on certain days of the week without charge because it was already taken out in the taxes, I liked that much better. Yes it's hard to have to keep buying stickers every week but we have learned to cut down on a lot of stuff by recycling & burning & not buying things that you really don't need.
