i have noticed in the past few weeks with my dog that it seems like he's eating more than he's ever eaten before, i mean that dog eats everytime he seems us eating something and i will go pour him some dog food and he will eat at the same time that we are eating, and i was just asking a friend of mine and he said that it seemed like his dog was doing the same thing as well, so i was just wondering about all of you, do you think that dogs seem to eat more now, or is it just because my dogs getting old...? i would like to thank you in advance for taking the time out of your day to come by and read my discussion and try and help me with my discussion, thanks and have a safe and happy weekend, happy mylotting!

My dogs is 13 years old, she eats a lot too and always like to go to the rubbish bin to dig food... and I have another 6 months old puppy likes to eat a lot but I give him the appropriate proportion so he won't get fatty.

It seems at times that our English Bulldog eats larger amounts. Personally I think it's because she doesn't want to let the other dog eat. I also don't believe in just letting them eat all day and night, but my partner does. The bulldog has a habit of taking her paw and scooting the feed dish around if it's empty. He'll go over and fill it up for her. She'll eat most of what he puts down each and every time. She's already way over weight and it's only going to get worse! Oh well, it's more his dog anyway so I'm not going to tell him what to do. If he wants to go through that much dog food, that's his choice not mine.
