My Rental Agent Is Awesome

As a result of an accident my car is in the body shop and I again have a rental car tioll mine is rep[eaired and ready. Now I got the same agent as the last time I rented a car due to an accident. He recalled my complaining about the tiny red ugly thing. So this time he did give me a larger vehicle to rent. This is a photo of it in my driveway. It's a 2008 Toyota Avalon. About 2 times or so bigger than that Yarus I had for the otjher one recently. They really treated me nicely. Now if I ever rent a car for personal use I know whom I will go to and whom I will talk with as well. This car is over twice the cost of the Yarus as well. L:uckily the insurance company will pay for it. Ever have a rental you hated due to it's size, color, or model etc?

I don't recall ever having a rental but I do agree with you, if they treat you nice and help you with your needs and are reasonable in price then I would also use them if the need ever did arise. I am glad that they did give you a bigger car this time. I am off to see the picture of it now.

Yes this company as well as the body shop have been great towards me both times. I recomend Abra Auto Body and also Enterprise Rental to friends etc if asked now.

When we went to Illinois almost 6 yrs. ago we rented a car to go see one of my Best friends from High School for the weekend. We ended up getting a Dodge Neon and personally in my opinion, this is one of the worst cars you can rent for sure. It sits so close to the ground that it was really hard to get in and out of as well. So we refuse to ever get one like that for sure.
My MIL owns a Avalon, and they are very nice cars. I know when you have something that nice it will probably make it hard to give it up when your Car is fixed, but glad to hear you got something better to use this time. Wishing you the Best.

I hate little cars and had a friend with a Neon.
It was difficult to get in and out even at a young age.
I really like this Toyota Avalon.
Roomy and luxurious feeling etc.

looks great AGB! Plenty of room can make a huge difference! Never really had a problem with a rental car as they have always been far tidier and cleaner than my own car! lol Having said that our latest car is very tidy and clean - the kids aren't even allowed to drink water in it - methinks Daddy is a bit paranoid! lol xxx

It seems roomier than my Buick actually.
Took some getting used to all the controls though.

Hi Grandpa Bob! Yes, it happened to us once when we rented a van but have forgotten what model it was. The air conditioning unit was not really functioning well and before we reached our destination, we were all perspiring and ended up putting down the windows. The rental agency assured us that the air condition is working properly so I complained when we got back but I was told many reasons and they made it appear that it not the fault of the car but ours. They said maybe because we are too many in the car and that the sun is so hot that day. Goodness, it is big van and we are just seven inside, 4 adults and 3 kids. I never again rented another car from them since then.

That is a nice ride GrandPa Bob. I know you are going to take that one for a spin before you have to give it back. I know I would. Did they say how long it was going to take to get the other one fixed? I know they did treat you nice. You are giving them a lot of business.
I have only had a rental car once and yes I liked it. When I had this car I tried to ride all the gas out of the car before returning it, not knowing that is was supposed to be returned with a full tank. So I had to have it filled up. I wish I had know before I tried to run all that gas out.

They never said a date to be done.
I am guessing by the weekend or Monday at the latest.
\Not a lot to do this time around thankfully.

I'm glad they took care of you this time, Grandpa Bob. It looks like a nice car. I've had rental cars in the past that have driven me crazy. Nothing wrong with them necessarily, they just didn't seem to fit or I didn't fit in them... something. And I am a proud stick shift driver.... I always have quite an adjustment to automatics whenever I rent. Takes me a while before my left leg gets used to not reaching for the clutch.

Customer service like that is how businesses prosper!
I had a little Chevy Neon once that was just awful. I felt like I was in a tin can, it was very small and cramped. I was almost scared to take it on the freeway, I felt like an ant among beetles!

That's how I felt about that Yarus I had last time. So tiny and scary to a point. This Avalon is a lot bigger and a lot safer feeling as well.

We had a rental when my husband wrecked his truck. I loved the rental, it was a suv. I don't remember what kind it was, but it was nice. It had a bad knocking in it though. Made me wonder if it was going to mess up before he could get his truck repaired.

How lucky you are. We all love to have such a caring auto agent like you have. Won't it be nice? Unfortunately, not every agent would do extra caring for their clients. They just done what they were told, and leave everything else to the clients themselves. Sometimes, they are not even nice to their customers, or even reluctant help them just a little. That is not the business that they were suppose doing. So, you are fortunate enough to have a good agent of yourself.

I had an accident around the Holidyas as well and used the3 same company but got a small car. They treated me well this time around.
