How Often Do You Buy New Frames?

So far I've been buying frames every year. I had intended to reuse my current frames, but they got all corroded so that's not going to work. I already went out and bought my next frames, now I just need to get the new prescription and have the lenses put in. But these next frames look like they will last so I hope to reuse them for at least a couple years.

I have the same glasses for about 7 or eight years. I need a new prescription burt I will have it put into my frames.I love my frames . They may not be as stylish but I like them.

I am lucky, I don't need my glasses all the time. In fact I am not wearing them now.

Wow! That's a long time. Are your lenses still the same too? The prescription doesn't change?
I plan to keep my sunglasses the same. The frame is definitely still good and I might not even bother to change the prescription if it's close enough since it seems to work fairly well too. Except sometimes they sort of give me a headache if I wear them for a long time.

Well that's cool. My eyes have changed every time so far. But I haven't been going to my current place that long, only 3 times so far I think. I'm due for another appointment but I just don't have the spare time to make that long drive out there since it has to be on a weekday.

Our eye coverage at work covers new glasses every two years so I get new frames every two years. I actually just bought the same frames the last time and had the old lenses put in them. I like a change and I think I would get new ones even more often if they weren't so expensive.

Yeah, I'd like to get glasses every 6 months if I could. Not so much for the change of style but because usually that's when they really don't work as good anymore. But glasses usually cost me nearly $1,000. Obviously I have no insurance, lol. But I guess if I had insurance it would actually cost me more or the same, because you keep paying so much per month and that adds up too.
