Let's share our experience !

I have never been to Albay, Bicol, where you can find the famous Mayon Volcano with its perfect cone shape. Maybe you have heard of it or have seen it on pictures. A few days ago there was this picture of Mayon on the Inquirer a famous newspaper here which was taken by a foreign journalist who is staying in Albay. The volcano has a cloud on its tip enncircled on it, which appeared like a shawl and it was so awesome, it was on the front page.

Certainly visiting other countries has allowed me to view beautiful things. The coasts of Australia are imprinted on my memory very well. As well as parts of Mexico that a person can watch the Gulf brings in beautiful blue water. However, some of my favorite sites are ones in my own country. Such as taking the train ride up Pike's Peak in Colorado. Or viewing the Golden Gate Bridge while standing high atop a hill in San Fransisco. Going across The Royal Gorge or going down into the Grand Canyon in Arizona...these places are so breathtaking to me.

My favorite city in the world had me very excited before the plane even landed. I think the harbor is spectacular and I loved seeing the sight of the white sails of the opera house and the gray harbor bridge. I enjoyed visiting the scenic beaches north and south of the harbor. I have been to picturesque New Zealand and seen some stunning sights like when I walked along the Abel Tasman Walkway past all the amazing looking beaches. I walked the Queen Charlotte Walkway after that wonderful experience. I do so love doing coastal walks. In Guatemala I will never forget the walk I did through the dark jungle to climb a Mayan temple. I sat at the top watching the sunrise. Wow! It was an awesome experience seeing the sky change color and hear the jungle animals waking up. From the great height I had the most impressive view of the jungle and the other Mayan temples stretching above the green trees.
