Pink Fluffy Robe

My 9 year old had decided to make my robe his security blanket. He gets up in the middle of the night and steals it from where I left it. In the morning I am freezing and can not find my robe. I eventually find him wrapped up in it. I told him I was going to buy him one of his own since he liked mine so much. He does not want another one just mine. Do your kids use any of your items for their security blankets?

My 18 month old daughter has done this as well. She sleeps with my robe and I get up and get if from her in the morning, and wear it for a while, and put it back on. If it's freshly washed she won't touch it, let me put it on for a few hours, and by that night she's gotta have it. She's gonna be so hard to break from all of her security items. She's got a binkie, blanket, a puppy, and my robe that she sleeps with, and can't sleep with out them all. Odd, but she was a sick baby when born, and was born early so we gave in and gave her things to help her.
