I have had to wear a bra for 48 hours because I had a biopsy done on Wednesday. I've had to sleep in it for 2 nights. I really don't like to wear a bra at all, and I usually get into my pj's as soon as I know we're settled in for the night so that I can take it off. Do any of you other women sleep with a bra? Does your spouse/sig other? If so, why? I know some women need it for support at night, but I don't normally have enough to support during the day, let alone at night... What's your (or your sig other's) preference?

reiny I wish I could have been there to support you. I hope everything turns out ok. by now you would have gotten the results. the only time I have had to wear a bra at night was when I had my children and it was recommended to wear a bra at all times even sleeping.

I do hope you are feeling a bit more comfortable now.I bet you are glad to get it off, forty eight hours with a bra on would drive me crazy especially at night.I like you don't have to worry to much about a great deal of support,I would not wear on at all unless I had to.I can think of nothing more uncomfortable than bras even expensive ones.

I do think I slept better without it on last night. And of course knowing the results of the test helped out a bit too!!! I wish I was "perky" enough to go without one all the time, but even when I was younger they weren't all that great!

Many years ago I slept with a bra on. I thought I needed the extra support. Now that I am older I let it all hang out! How did I ever sleep with such restraints!

I don't have much to support so I just worry about it during the day so they stay in place. At night, I need to be cumfy!!

I hope you're doing well (and the biopsy didnt come back wth bad news!) I cant stand sleeping in a bra...honestly as soon as i get home my bra comes off. Having to sleep in one would drive me fruity.

Yes, everything is fine :) That first night without the bra was awesome! I'm glad I don't have to go through all that again.

My sister used to sleep in her bra all the time i never understood how she could stand it. I understand now WHY she did it (also why she hated sleepovers) but at the time i never did understand.

Hi. Sometimes I do sleep in my bra...when my boobs are sore and tender just before my period is the time I need to wear a bra to bed for the extra support. Last night I realized that I need to buy another bra, as this one is getting a bit stretched out...especially when putting something on the top shelf and the bra tries to slide up over your boobs. Time for a new one. Nadine

Well, I don't need a whole lot of support normally, so it's actually a relief to go without it. I do know it's a pain to be on the edge when it's giving out on you though! I always go as long as I can before I buy new ones - they are so expensive!

A friend of mine who wears like a DD cannot sleep without hers either. I'm a few sizes smaller so I guess that's why it doesn't bother me.
