Toolbars, anyone?

Clixsense - Photo of an honest PTC site that I use

I generally abhor toolbars as they can really hinder my internet surfing by slowing things down. But, I finally broke down a couple of days ago and downloaded a toolbar for Firefox. It's useful to me because I visit Clixsense quite a few times during the day. I like Clixsense because it is an honest site and they pay. In fact, thus far, it is the ONLY PTC site that has paid me. The only thing I don't like about Ckixsense is that they pay by check, but a check is better than no pay at all

I have bookmarks for most visited sites, so I don't need that function on a toolbar. Besides, some sites I go to I wouldn't want visible for everyone that uses this computer to see

I never liked toolbars eitherUp till now, I still haven't have any installed & I hope to keep it that wayOohang on, does the Alexa ranking thingy considered a toolbar -oh yes, I think it is. I have got Sparky on my Fire Fox!~ That's for the sole purpose of boosting my website ranking. In fact, I didn't even bother to install it on IE, haha

I never use IE, so I don't have to worry about toolbars there. I think my wife has one on there but she's the only one that uses it so I guess it's up to her

I use Fire Fox most of the time & seldom use IE. That's why I didn't find the need to install it. My wife uses more IE but after installing Fire Fox on the laptop for her, she's been using it more than IE but I didn't install Sparky on the laptop Fire Fox though, haha

Sometimes I think I was much better off when I only went to a few places online and then went off to do real life things

I love my Firefox toolbars. They're such fun and easy to use, but sure do take up a lot of space at the top of my page! LOL As for clixsense........not my cup of tea.

All toolbars take up a lot of space, at least at first. They take up much less space once you go through and delete all the crapola that you don't want to look at

I have them for a few things, I wish I could just have the ones I want, it would probably be 3 at the most.

What I like about Firefox is the ability to put websites I visit a lot, like this one, at the top of every page in their toolbar set up. But, so far, the extra toolbar is working okay for me and hasn't made me want to remove it

It is not a big deal anymore, I am not using explorer or am angry with a certain site.

Hi fwidman I am with clixsense and have their toolbar on my one it is handy and quick to log-in thanks for the reassurance that they do pay as I am new to this site but it is good to know that..plus the fact you can go on it a few times during the day, that was something else I also didn't know so will do that too now...littleowl

Hi, tamara! Yep, they do pay me, although I give the money to Shelly so she has a few extra bucks to play with

Clixsense has a toolbar? I usually don't like downloading toolbars either, because they do slow things down. I would probably be leery of a first check, but after it cleared the first time then I wouldn't be so worried about payment coming in the form of a check.

Nope, the checks cleared. I had my wife put it in her bank account and they gave her the money to spend
