Have You Ever Been Inspired to Write a Book?

I would like to write a book someday, however, I don't know how to begin. I wished I had enough inspiration to write about whatever. I wished I had the gift of writing where it just comes naturally but it doesn't. Just trying to come up with topics here, takes me forever some times.

I had started to write an audiobiogrophy. But I had never finished it I wish I had done so and published it.

It's never too late, that when determination and driving forces come to get things completed. What a coincident, as I'm responding here-Amazon CEO is on TV being interviewed about how he got started. Amazing huh!

Yes I know its not to late I have been adding to the audobiorgraphy that I wrote. That is funny about the coincedence that as you were talking about it the CEO was on talking about there start up.

Once I saw a long dream, it was just like a novel, I started writing it too but after first chapter my inspiration vanished, so it is still at the same stage, Hope one day I will complete it.God only knows.

Sounds like you have a novel in waiting. I bet it will be a very good one too. Best wishes to you and your success.

You have a gift that I wish I could posses also and that is putting words together to make a poem. Don't stop writing your poems.

when i was in college my friends used to read novels and sometimes they discuss it while we all sit together.so i tried reading a few and thought someday i would write myself one.but i was wrong.each time i tried to write something serious my friends circulated it as a great joke...

Hey, thats a good one- write it anyway and call it "the great joke". It doesn't have to be to their standards and they must have liked it because it was circulated amongst friends. See who gets the last laugh.

hi there , I too have this quench for writing books in the future.I felt that its really difficult to have that flow of thought going good ,when writing a book. But what can be done is try writing a diary first and just make it a everyday habit ,where its more of pleasure writing than just for the sake of it .I guess someday that writing talent would definitely come alive when you still have that urge for writing a book . Cheers

I know what you mean, I tried keeping a journal. I did complete 2 notebooks about a year ago and then I stopped writing. I was writing my ideas in one, gratitude in another, and thoughts in another.

If you did, you could learn to self publish if you are determined enough to get your book read. Thats what I believe.
