Why do pedifiles keep showing up for Dateline meetings?

Okay, we have all seen the myspace Dateline specials. Officers pose as young woman online, interest these pervs, then convince them to come, alcohol in hand for an in person meeting. Then..... these stupids guys keep showing up. Do they never watch tv and know this stuff might happen?

They know it might but obviously they don't care or don't think it'll happen to them. I'm glad. It means they are outed and less likely to do any more harm.

That is true. Because they come anyway, the police can arrest them and hopefully keep them locked up for a very, very long time! Thanks.
