it's a scam!

no, i'm not referring to myLot. hehe. i'm referring to all the other scams in this world we live in.
there are way too many scams both online and offline. have you been scammed before? has someone tried to scam you before and failed?
how many scams are you aware of? perhaps sharing your experiences can help everyone else be aware of such scams.
think of it as public service and, at the same time, a way to vent. ^_^

Hi sandra,
I am very lucky because my hubby spots a scam and if they come to the door he just send them of with a flea in their ears and once I had this letter saying I've won this holiday so my hubby rang them up from his works phone and I was there at the time to talk to them, and yes we found out it was a scam as they wanted me to put some money down to collect the tickets, so my hubby just told them to get lost.

If something on line offers you big pay and it seems to good to be true then it probably is to good to be true and it is a scam .I use gut feelings if it looks wrong then I will not try it,giving personal details over the net or phone bank account or such like then it is a scam.The trouble is sometimes these scammers are so good and convincing,never buy what you don't want,or at a price that seems wrong.Ask your friends and neibours if they think it is a good idea, always take someone older with you or get them to check something out.Up till know I have been alright thats all I can say.
