computer programming languages

Hi, it depends..... I am working on C#.net, VB.net, Visual basic etc. So I can say the .Net platform is good. since it supports the common language interface(CLR). So you can create projects in different languages and use in same solution. You can even write in C++ or Java and use in the same solution. So best is .net framework. Regards. Reyas MCTS

I think C is the best because it forms basic of all other languages. if one learnt it other languages would be a bit easy to learn as many of the logics are the same all though way of writting changes...

Depends what you want to do with it. Internet coding or for a computer. Any C language can be a good idea, as it will give you a good basis in object oriented programming, which many languages use these days.

Java - I love Java applets PHP - It is very fun to develop browser-based games I do not much experience with PHP, but you can easily share your work through web. People join your system, participate and all the ranking stuff is fun. I enjoy PHP the most these days. I love Java because it is very need. You need to be a bit specific in assiging variables and all the stuff, but it is neater than C++ which makes it more appealing. And it does not have pointers thank God
