After a few days of temperatures in the 40's (f) here in Minnesota we got a nice March Blizzard. Areas West of me had some major Highways closed down due to ice and blowing snow. I got a cpouple inches only but it was preceded by rain which froze under the snow. This is my porch this morning covered with ice and blown snow on it. My wife took the bus home so I did not have to trqavel on the icy roads which were in terrible shape. The temp right now is -2F with high winds making the windchill at -20F. Are you all toasty warm?

We had temperatures in the 80's Monday and Tuesday. Today, it's down in the 60's, a cold front coming through with rain! And the mention of rain knocks my husband out of a job for the day. It sprinkled just a little this morning and then the sun came out. It's 62 now and probably about the highest it will get. It sounds warm to you, I know. But after being in the 80's and summer weather, the 60's are a little chilly for me.

Very warm souinding actually.
But then in March, we Minnesotans don
our shorts and t-shirts in the 40's.

Well, so do crazy Alabamians! I was sitting in the stands at my grandson's varsity soccer game a couple weeks ago. I was freezing, and there, sitting beside me was another grandson in short sleeves and shorts declaring, 'Nanny, I'm not cold.' He had two jackets in his mother's car, but would not wear one of them!

I'm nice and toasty with my warm pjs and snuggled up in bed with my hot water botle and duvet and my laptop - what better way to spend a cold Wednesday night! lol I would be extremely scared to leave the house at all in that kind of weather AGB as I am not too steady on my feet at the best of times. Hope the ice disappears for you! xxxx

Hi Grandpa Bob! It must have been very cold out there! Can you please send me some chill wind here? LOL! We are so toasted out here! It is so hot and it will be getting hotter in the next days to come. Right now we have a temperature of 33 degrees and will reach 43 degrees C in the next few days as forecast by the weatherman. Goodness! I think I am going to just live inside our fridge in the next few days. LOL!
Take care and have a great day!

Well we have been having Spring like weather until today. This morning we had a couple of hours of cold rain and temperatures dropped to 40's today (they were 60-70) and it is supposed to be colder tomorrow, But no snow in the forecast. You can keep it!

Our house is old and drafty, and the room where I compute is chilliest, most exterior walls. It suits me fine though. We did not reach 30 today, but will be over forty tomorrow.Your wife was very thoughtful to take the bus home.

Our living room is also very drafty.
We need 17 new windows and soon.
That would save us a few hundred dollars a year.
Easily.
But I need over $10,000 first.

I guess the ground hog was right this year when he saw his shadow if you believe in all of that. Here in CA we are still in draught conditions.

I am warm. But only because I haven't gone out side. The temp here is in the low 20s. And the windchill a few hours ago was in the single digits. My poor 5 year old daughter had to go to the bus stop with her daddy. It was his turn to take her. I felt bad for them both. I look at the bright side. No snow. Stay safe, and be careful!

It was 72 here yesterday and I opened all the windows! Right now it is 35.
I dreamed Monday night of icy roads and being trapped, cars wrecked all over the place.
Good thing is, I turned off the heat yesterday and haven't had to turn it back on yet! It's 68 in here even though it hit the high 20's last night and is mid-30's now.

Too warm for me in March.
I lived in Florida for a winter once and missed the snow and cold a lot. Especially around Christmas. Green grass at that time of year felt odd to me. Glad the dream did not occur for you.

Yeah, where I live, we were getting ready to turn the AC on, the other day I had the windows open in my house letting the warm breeze come through, even yesterday it was warm, we got in the 80's, I haven't had to build a fire in a week or so, but last night it turned cold again, its 36 right now, and I've got the fire blazing in the fireplace, its so weird. We were ready for Spring, everybody had Spring fever the other day...haha.

Hey Grandpa Bob! Sorry to hear that you got hit again! I hope
that it ends soon for you! I don't know why it won't end! We
had the snow storm last week and then had temps in the high
60's and then back down to the 40's! I just don't know what
will happen next! For now the snow has vanished and I am
really hoping that there won't be any more! But, who knows!
So you are back in the artic temps again! I do hope you
warm up soon so you can start working on that garden that you
love so much! I can't wait to start hearing all those garden
reports again! That's how it was when I first can to mylot!
June will be one year for me! Stay warm, it has to end soon!

We are now entering Spring and I HATE it! I am only a winter person! Yesterday the temperature was 70 degrees and very sunny and all I could think about is that wonderful icy blizzard we just got out of! I am allergic to any kind of heat so I have hell to look forward to: SUMMER! Give me a blizzard any day!

I remember a few weeks ago we had temps in the upper 50's to lower 60's and then got hit with not a blizzard, but some snow and cold temps..Then the last few days have been absoluttely wonderful, yesterday being about 78 degrees
, but today the temps are dropping back into the upper 30's to lower 40's..That is what the Mid West is about, up and down weather going from one season to another..

Here, we has some nice temperatures last wek, but it has been pretty cold this week. Not as cold as it is there, but we had some ice Monday night, and snow Tuesday morning. It only got to a whopping 19 dgrees here today, and that was without the wind chill factor.
