Ever had a wrong calculation on your salary?

Hello wondericequeen, I have no experience on this. Normally it is a fixed number to me. I don't have overtime or claims and the salary that I receive every month is fixed amount. Maybe you should check with your manager why yours is lesser than you expect.

Yes, once any employer mistakenly overpaid hubby and me by a LOT and when we were honest and reported the overpayment the cashier was extremely rude and tried to act like we had done something wrong. Geeeze. "Thank you" would have been nicer.

i am sorry this happened to you. :( i hope your situation will be resolved very, very quickly. i have actually not been paid about 3 times..... in each of these instances it was the fault of the finance department at my job. it was their mistake. i was paid after i talked to the person in my department who is in charge of financial matters and the finance department of the company i work for. whenever this happened to me, i found it very, very stressful. again, good luck to you, and i hope your situation will be resolved as quickly as possible.

I have had a bad experience once. I was working as a teacher for a private school, and the management used to make us sign a ledger for a higher amount and pay us a considerably lesser amount, that was the usual practice and we knew about it . Every month the salary would be handed over to us in an envelope. Once i got the shock of my life when my envelope had much lesser than what i was supposed to get. I went and told the matter to the administrator and he said that no change was made and i was paid the right amount. It was difficult to convince him and say that i had recd less. But somehow through word of mouth the news reached others and i came to know that the envelope had got exchanged and i had got someone else's salary - who was a newcomer, and it was resolved by the administrator..
