The consignment shop where I love to find bargains, is having a 75% off sale this weekend. I went by earlier today to look, but ended up only purchasing two pairs of pants.
Mainly because the majority of the clearance items were heavy sweaters and sweatshirts. Normally, I would be willing to try and find new things for next winter, but I'm determined to lose 30 pounds over the summer, and don't want to purchase too much until I see what size I'm in when the fall comes.
So anyway, I came home and started to look through my summer things. I can't wait for the weather to warm up permanently so I can pull out the capri pants and tank tops! (Plus if I can lose some of this weight, they will even look better!) It was
Earlier this week, it was 85 degrees and I was able to wear my summer things. I even did a pedicure and wore Sandals!
So what is your favorite season of the year? Why? Do you like shopping for new clothes at the beginning of summer and winter? What's your favorite store? Do you like second hand stores and garage sales?

Honestly I prefer winter since everyone's bundled up and it's difficult to say someone's wearing an article of clothing that's too revealing because it's colder out and everyone's trying to keep warm. I'm not such a big fan of summer on the other hand because it's more pressure to work out and look good in a bathing suit in addition to the fact that I dislike being sticky and sweaty. I think shopping in the fall is the most fun for me, but shopping around spring is also fun. I love buying new boots in the winter and new sandals for the spring and summer. My favorite store changes often enough, but at the moment it's American Apparel for basics. Consignment stores are my saving grace when it comes to my love of designer labels because it allows me to find something wonderful at a price that's definitely lower than retail. Sales are also a big win when it comes to needing new things for a wardrobe since it's a way to broaden your creativity with items.

I'm waiting patiently for the warm weather to be here permanently. We'll have a couple of what I call "Teaser" days where the temperature will be 70. And then the next thing I know it's back down in the 30's and we're dragging out the sweatshirts and coats again. I hate cold weather. It makes my back hurt.
