watching the news is depressing

That so true there are many news channel who give more focus on bad news(crime) and make a particular episode based on the crime very disgusting one.As bad news also the part of the news you can't escape from it while watching the news yeah but there are some news channel who telecast good news of give more focus to the bad news rather then bad news. In my country there is one channel name DDNATIONAL very good channel always telecast good news and avoid the more vulgar or crime news i usually see this channel for news..

That is why we hardly watch the news anymore. Usually we'll just turn it on to see the weather.

I would love to hear and see some good news also. It is always something to do with someone killing someone else or it has everything to do with the falling economy. It is horrible.

I don't watch news these days. i am happy with the news in the newspapers only. You are right, they can't show the good things in this world. They would always try to show things which are bad in this world. It is so depressing. I think it is not their fault, there is no good thing happening in this world.

It is my opinion that they do this because that is all that people care about hearing. I think they have actually done studies that have confirmed this. Nobody cares about good things that are happening or at least they do not care to hear about it so then they can say there is not enough good news on. Don't get me wrong, i am not saying this is you....... but it is alot of people out there. But I think it would be nice to even hear once a day something good that has happened.
