All right GH fans, it's time to lift your voices and be heard!
What do you think of Natalia Livingston, the actress that played Emily Quartermaine Cassadin, being brought back to play another character?
My verdict is still out. Her new character Rebecca is, like that of Sarah Brown's (old Carly---new Claudia) very different from the old one. I personally think the producers trying to make her look toughter and more street wise, have taken much of her natural beauty away.
You can no longer see her eyes for all the mascara and eye liner. Her hair, which was one of Emily's greatest attributes is often either straightened to the point of looking unnatural or stuck up in a tacky looking pony tail.
Anyone else have an opinion?

I didn't like the ponytail today either. But, she is working in a diner with food and should have her hair restrained so it doesn't get into the food. That would be in real life though.
I think they just want to remind us forcefully that she isn't Emily. Point taken guys. Let Natalia look pretty again please.
I had read somewhere that Rebecca was going to have some memories of Emily. I wonder if that means she met her or are the memories going to be from Emily's perspective? I am sure Helena is involved, I read she was returning.

I wondered about that! I had not read that Helena was returning, but I had to wonder. It seems that Rebecca knew an awful lot about Port Charles to begin with, even though she covered nicely with Nikolas, and swore she knew nothing about Emily.
Then there was the fact of her being drawn to Lucky which leads me to wonder if the brothers are being set up.

I miss Emily. I know some people think Emily was too passive, but maybe the writers could compromise and make the character Emily, but her personality is mixed between her former self, and the current character of Rebecca that she currently plays.

I liked her too! I was sad that they killed her character off when she and Nik were so obviously in love. I keep hoping that eventually she will get to work with Tyler Christopher again. There was such a Chemistry between the two that it would be a shame not to allow the fans that pleasure again!
