Cleaning the oven with no gloves on.

Is cleaning the oven with no gloves on going to make my hands hurt for a while, or will it make the skin fall off totally? I washed them after wards.

it completly depends on the cleaner you are using. follow the directions on the cleaning solution's bottle, it usually is a good idea to wear gloves when using any harsh cleaning agents.

I am using Easy Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner

unless you have sensitive skin, it prob wont hurt. I never wear rubber gloves ( they feel gross) and I clean my oven approx. 1 time a month, and my hands never reacted badly. But mind you, thats me, and you are you, so maybe it will be different !

I do have sensitive skin, so maybe thats the difference.
